hello8 vina I can’t tell you how liberating it is as a small business owner to be able to build my own websites. More importantly I can add content whenever I wish to as well as make changes whenever necessary. I’m not dependent on a webmaster which turns into a waiting game and additional expense.
Most themes can handle widgets but there are still a few that cannot do so. Make sure that any theme you think about using is one that can handle widgets. You are eliminating a large part of what makes WordPress a great platform if your theme is not widget compatible.
Another option that you will see in the same section where you will see the different themes is an option for headers. hello 88 To get a custom WordPress theme you can go about it in two different ways. In the first option you can choose a free one and tweak it to your liking. One way to tweak it is to utilize the various widgets that are available with that particular theme. To do this, select the “Widget” selection on the sidebar of your dashboard under appearance. On free WordPress themes you can also edit the stylesheet. This is the code behind the design of your chosen theme. To do this, select the “Edit” option on the sidebar of your dashboard under appearance. It is important to note that stylesheets are set up in CSS which means that in order to edit the theme you will need to possess knowledge of at least basic CSS code.
To date, all the assistance I’ve required I obtained from forum support. A well moderated forum, which is critical, is an excellent support feature. Just be sure the theme developer has senior moderators answering questions.
